I'm Darren and I create unique homewares from old unwanted drum kits at my Edinburgh Studio.

​

I've been renovating old drum kits since November 2020 and my work has so far found homes in six countries across three continents. My work has featured in GNI Magazine, has sold in stores across the country such as Sebs Urban Jungle (Edinburgh) Concrete and Cacti (North Yorkshire) and Aeble (Anstruther), and decorates venues such as Grindhaus (Glasgow), Thorne Records (Edinburgh), Rescue Rooms (Nottingham), Kinfolk (Dundee), Hare of the Dog (Edinburgh) and many more.

 

I also manage my own creative studios in Edinburgh called Nook & Cranny, providing affordable studio spaces to twelve artists and makers.
